ODD: Well, it seems most of you want the next installment of “It Figures” to feature DCUC Wave 3. Which means a lot of writing for me. I had my fingers crossed for the Mousers exclusive….all right, DCUC3 it is. I’d better start writing now.
END: After weeks of seeing nothing but Movie Master Batman Begins and Scarecrows on the shelves, I finally found some Dark Knight Batmans and Jokers at Wal-Mart over the weekend. I picked up one of each for some friends and only just this minute realized I should have picked up an extra Joker and raffled him off here. Dammit!
ODD: Now that I’ve got DCUC3, I find myself prepared to settle in for a long wait for waves four and five (the latter being the Wal-Mart exclusive wave). Of course, that means one or both will hit by the end of September.
END: I really, really want this T-shirt. I’m an XL, in case you’re wondering.
ODD: I busted out my Street Fighter figures for the first time in years. I can’t wait for the arrival of E. Honda and Dhalsim–it’s been a long time coming. I’ve got them pre-ordered, and I may pick up Zangief if I see him in a store. E. Honda, though…he was my guy. Hundred Hand Slap ftw! There are still a couple of SF figures I need to get…M. Bison and a regular Ryu. If anyone has either for trade, let me know.
END: On a similar note, the upcoming Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe has me looking for a Jazwares Shaolin Monks Sub-Zero. He’s hard to find, even on eBay. I’m not even sure the game will be any good, but it would be fun to take a few photos of the two figures facing off.
ODD: For some reason, my copy of ToyFare continue to show up late, despite my having a subscription. I live in Massachusetts–just a four-hour drive from NYC–and yet there are subscribers in Midwestern states who get their copies before me. #134 hit comic shops last Wednesday, and as of right now I have yet to receive mine. Kind of defeats the purpose of subscribing (well, except for the free Parabox Zoidberg).
END: Just a reminder–Toy Bender’s SDCC Exclusive Cobra Commander Contest ends this Sunday. Let’s get those submissions in, people!
