I'm not an articulation junkie (I collect JLU for Christ's sakes!) and I actually think a lot of ToyBiz Marvel Legends have simply too much articulation.

But I don't like statue toys. Figures need to have at least the basic 5 in a plausible way or they're useless to me. Some figures like GI Joe need to have plenty of articulation.

NECA is a strange company because the NECA TMNT is probably the finest toy produced by any company all year and yet they put out tons of turds that barely move.

Your "finger food" comment = exactly why I became so obsessed with stupid Sigma 6; pop a new head or a new cloth accessory on a figure and it's all new again.

Let me do that again:

There’s a reason I don’t feel bad for not opening figures like this. They look the same and are as functional in the package as well as out of it.

"The reason I lose interest in such figures is because they offer little in the way of “finger food,” i.e., the ability to fiddle with the figure. With a fixed-pose torso and without good articulation, there are a limited number of poses, and as I’ve often said, I don’t collect statues, I collect toys."
