That’s my Lightray/Orion two-pack you’re making me wait for, UPS! It was supposed to arrive today! Today!
And what’s the deal with that “mechanical failure”? What’s that about?

Hope the "mechanical failure" isn't your package getting caught in a postal machine!
At least it didn't say "Train Derailment" like one I've seen somewhere before.
Poe,
UPS is the WORST package delivery company out there. UPS is HORRIBLE! Slow, rude people. That's why I always try to see if I can get it delivered usps if possible.
Hope everything works out.

Like I commented in that link…I like the old dcsh version better. I like the wider capes and I feel like wave 6 is too straight….it just falls straight down.
I believe the Mechanical Failure was Mattel's robots sent to stop the DCUC from reaching your house. Because as you know, Mattel works very hard to make sure you can look at DCUC online, but not actually have them.
@Articulated One: Yikes…never seen that!
@Chris: I still like the look of the new Superman, but I'll let you know what I think once I've got him in my hand. Still, the colors and the more streamlined muscular structure of the DCUC are appealing.
@Newt: LOL!
New World Order Superman is one I shan't be buying… whats the BAF for this wave?
What a coincidence! The same day, UPS decided to leave my package in the warehouse, so it got here a day late (yesterday). The wait was worth it though… mmmm… Minimates…
Christopher-
I've worked in shipping/receiving for 7 years now, and UPS's track record is light years ahead of either the postal system or DHL. (Which is shutting down, thank God.) I have yet to see someone who doesn't care about their job as much as two of the DHL drivers I've dealt with.
Might be a "your mileage may vary" situation, but I don't have much of a problem with UPS.
That's why I always use IPS! Doug never lets me down, except for that whole "I wanna have a baby from China" series finale.
Well,
It's all over the forum boards…a lot of people say that USPS is a lot better than UPS and Fed Ex. As one guy put it…
USPS>Fed Ex> UPS
A lot of people say UPS just crushes their package. I personally haven't had that experience with them but their poor customer service.
I choose USPS because they at least give you a slip and you can pick it up at their offices. There are more USPS offices than UPS or Fed Ex so you don't have to drive a long way from where u live just to pick up your package.
