New DCUC8 & MOTUC pics
Captain Collector over at AFTimes has gotten his hands on some figures from DCUC8. He has some initial photos up and will have more later. Based on the interval between him getting wave 6 and my receiving it, you should see the first PGPoA review of a wave 8 figure around May 20.
From the initial photos, the figures look great. Hawkgirl and Vigilante both come with three weapons each…the spear will look good with Wonder Woman. Even better, Hawkgirl has two open hands, so she can actually hold her mace two-handed.
Meanwhile, Mattycollector has posted official photos of Zodac and Hordak. How happy are you, Hordak fans? (I wish I could follow that up with, “Very, I assume!” but these are toy collectors we’re talking about. )

No, seriously, I can’t believe I’ll probably be getting the series from Mer-Man on. I was never a huge He-Man fan beyond a deep appreciation for Skeletor (The Battle Damage version was the first action figure I remember getting) but these figures are fantastic looking.

I’ll be happiest if I manage to get one of these figures in hand. Hopefully I won’t have to work that day so I can be online to order one, or some place like BBTS will offer pre-orders. Then I’d like to get a King Grayskull. Hope they re-issue him soon.

I’m really excited about Hawk Girl and am having some severe Giganta envy. I’m not sure buyig the whole wave will cost out for me. Maybe I can get her on Ebay. Crap!

I think it’s my long term goal to make up the JSA (screw those JLA losers), so I may have to get Hawkgirl, Mr. Terrific, etc.

I LOVE that Hordak! Really liking the MOTUC line!
DCUC wave 8 sucks. Hawkgirl’s face is so mannish and paintwise..yuck!
Wave 8 looks pretty cheap and the line seems to be getting worse in my opinion. Which is total ok with me! Saves me cash!
Glad to have MOTUC to collect!
