Oh, Poe…don't get me started on the whole killing comic book characters thing…its just so bloody tired. I quite fail to understand how any writer or editor thinks its anything close to good storytelling…

For the record, my Batman is alive, too. Granted, its the gimp mask, no mouth Batman, but it's Bruce under there begging Selina to punish him, dammit!

Love BB's figure, too – glad they pulled through with the clear / transparent yellow goggles…unlike Black Lightning.

Yeah – Didio seems to have a mad-on for the Justice League International roster: Ralph & Sue Dibny dead, Ted Kord executed & Max Lord went rogue & killed as a….human??? Even Mr.Miracle is dead!

Jeez, what's next – Guy Gardner becomes a frigging EUNUCH ????

Two thumbs up to Motorthing for a great attitude. I myself take great comfort in the Marvel universe on my bookshelf…where the real Captain America is still alive, and Iron Man isn't a prig, and Wolverine is somewhere in the back behind some other, more interesting characters…

Well one of the reasons Action Figures rock is that when you finally get a great version of a character you like/love (like DCUC has been giving us with these last few series) then they become kind of "immortal" in my possesion – and idiots like Didio can't hurt them anymore. This Beetle will live on for as long as the figure does.

Dan should never have killed Ted Kord, The Blue Beetle.

DC should have treated all of the Charlton Heroes better than they were treated.

PeaceMaker, Captain Atom, Peter Cannon…Thunderbolt, Nightshade, The Question, Judo-Master, ….

But there's nothing like a bullet to the head to really ruin your day!!

My big contribution to everyone's review of this figure is that there was an old time radio show based on the adventures of the first Blue Beetle. It's really odd to hear considering that other comic heroes of that time who were much more popular didn't have a show.
