I don't see these moving much on the shelves. Hell, you can pick up a box set featuring the "Public Enemies" hardcover packed with McGuiness-styled Batman and Superman DC Direct figures. This is actually the first I'm hearing about this movie. That first story arc from Superman/Batman is one of my favorites in recent memory. Seems like their taking a huge influence from the first story of the Batman Superman comic. The art style definitely looks inspired by it.
