DCUC9 packaged pics
I’ll let y’all get back to arguing about Transformers 2 in just a second…first I wanted to make sure you’d seen the DCUC9 packaged images Mattel just posted on their Facebook page (note the odd “First time in 6 inch!” on Guardian’s blister…funny!).

Hmmm, wonder how Black Canary will look like on a scaled die cast Harley? Guess there’s only one way to find out…Looks like the Kirby Mantis has arigid cape ??? Deadshot & both Wildcats all ROCK !!! Not too sure about the Chemo CnC, though….

They’re doing an awesome job on in package posing. Not too keen on Guardian, but I guess every wave has to have a stinkpile in it. I’m hoping I get this wave as far in advance as I got wave 8 from BBTS. I felt so special =P

I’m super excited about Chemo! Also having Green Arrow is going to be really nice. I’ll feel like my “Justice League” is one step closer to being complete… now we just need Martian Manhunter!!!

That Guardian figure looks terrible (kinda like they took leftover Dr. Fates and stripped them of everything that made them look remotely interesting), but most of the others look sweet. And those Green Arrow and Black Canary figures are probably the only figures to ever make me feel like I might need a second to keep MOC!

Oh, man… I’m so glad to get The Guardian.
If you’re going to hit the villains with anything … it might as well be a shield.
Maybe not the best selection on how they painted him… but I’m really going to be glad they made the figure. (As you can tell from the posts… most of you aren’t too keen on him.) Me?? I’m really glad.!!
Maybe they’ll make another one (I hope) that you guys will like better.

Amen Motorthing, I guess you’re in the UK too? Well done on getting Atom Smasher together. I just managed to bag the Kalibak wave and my back is still sore healing up from the sutures after they took the kidney I had to sell to buy them all.
Guardian would improve vastly with a gold helm.

my mom learned to justify my hobby with the whole “it could be worst , he could be on drugs or in jail” , now i have my own place and my fiancee listens to the jonas brothers and we enjoy the fact that we both refuse to grow up…so when a box of dc figures shows up , she’s happy for me!…she thinks aquaman is a gay , but i take the good with the bad

@Santo, my parents say the same thing….I don’t smoke or drink alcohol at all, if I want to spend my hard earned money that I have saved on figures or anything else cool its my decission. At the end of the day our collecting isn’t hurting anyone at least we are putting money back into the eccomony.

I’ve been going back and looking at those pics a few times daily since they were posted a couple of days ago. They made me a lot more excited about wave 9 than I was; wave 8 was my favorite since wave 3, and the “newness” still hasn’t worn off of those yet for me, so I wasn’t really anticipating Wave 9 too much before I saw these pics. Deadshot is still my number one want from this wave. He looks perfect. And I’m not a MOC collector, but it’s mighty tempting to pick up an extra Green Arrow to display that way, as he looks so cool in that package!

This line-up has been rumored for quite awhile, albeit oddly missing the expected Forager figure. Since only 6 are listed, and we’ve been told this would be a 7 figure wave, we’re assuming that Forager will be in there. Since the listed Batman will be a variant, much like last year’s Eradicator Superman, I’m making a guess that it might be a simple repaint to make a classic “Bob Kane” Batman.
**Update** Confirming that Forager WILL be in that assortment.

Its a shame I can’t even find Wave 8 yet! I was down in Eastgrenwich, RI for a graduation party and stopped at the Wally Super Center in Coventry, and alas, no Wave 8′s, still on wave 7 there. Maybe by August!
