It's glued on, but there are two little pegs on either side, near the ears. If you're very careful, you can pry it off while preserving the pegs so you can get it back on again.

Can you? I noticed it looked like it comes off, but it seemed kinda stuck so I left it alone. Hmmmmm, I gotta go check that out...

@finkrod: That's the other Jason I own. I like it a lot, particularly since you can remove the mask...

I've never been a fan of the slasher genre, but I do have a Jason in my collection. My nephew got him for me as a birthday gift a few years back. He's very gnarly looking and dressed in all blue.

I would definitely pick up some of the figures from this line, but Mezco products always have terrible distribution in this area. I would get this figure, as this is pretty much how I picture Jason when I think of the character. I really like the interchangeable heads.

Harvard Square, of all places! After finding him absent at the one in Newton and Framingham/Natick. 'Twas weird, since usually Harvard's the one that's sold out of everything.

@Poe: Glad you finally found Jason! I know you've been looking for him for a while. What NC did you end up striking gold at?

I've been somewhat looking for a nice Freddy and Jason. This would do for an overall Jason figure, and the review certainly puts the icing on the cake, but Doctor Freddy doesn't make the cut. I wish they would keep the more iconic versions in circulation.
