Wheeljack screws the pooch on the Dinobots

(Warning: there’s more than a few f-bombs in this video, so probably NSFW.)

My favorite part is Wheeljack’s argument about going for “authenticity.” Even as a kid, I did think it was weird Wheeljack built the Dinobots as idiots when he didn’t have to. Which may be why they were actually smart in the comics–Simon Furman knows best.

  • Yeah, I've always found this video hilarious — it was part of the reason I hunted down an Energon Downshift to use as Classics Wheeljack.

  • Furman is a mediocre comic writer who has built up a modestly sizable fan base simply because he is the longest tenured Transformers writer ever.

  • Anything Dr Smoov is involved with is pure gold. There's another skit with GI Joe's Beachhead, Prime, and Wheeljack on Youtube. I forgot the URL but its pretty easy to find by search. Awesome stuff.

    Dare I Smoov was better than Cullen in the live action movies. Obviously Bay wouldn't see true talent even if it hits him in the face.
