Any letters for Santa–er, Matty?

I hear those sleigh bells ringin’ a jing-ting tingaling too…and I also hear more questions for Mattel. From you.
The next round of answers should be here on Tuesday, at which point I get to debut an awesome new piece of art by newly-appointed PGPoA art director MechaShiva.

In DCUC, is there any chance we’ll get the upcoming Superboy as a variant in his late 90′s costume? The Pascal Ferry version? Thanks.

Why have you switched the neck ball joint structure for all figures wave 9 and beyond from a 2 ball peg to the much more rigid 3 ball peg? (please see picture) I know specific character articulation is taken into account but at least one character in waves 9-11 should qualify for up and down neck movement. Also if I am to contact someone other than you for that information would you please send me an e-mail, or Poe and e-mail to forward to me? Thanks very much!

If Matty is Santa, then I’m celebrating Kwanza this year.
Is Mattel doing anything to improve the sculpting or articulation of DCU Infinite heroes to match Hasbro’s Marvel Universe?

In MOTUC, I’m aware you cannot speak of characters yet to be announced, but as Prince Adam will undoubtedly be made eventually I’d likw to know:
A. Will he be a He-man repaint as with the original line or would you do a new smaller male build scupt like the 200X line but still in the Classics style?
B. Will his vest be a soft goods material or scupted like the upcoming Adora?

matty, to streamline the communication process can you give a list of specific questions that won’t/can’t be answered?
i.e production numbers, figure releases etc.
it would help unclog ALL the Q&As with questions that wouldnt be answered and fans won’t feel as disgruntled when things are not answered to their liking.

Hi – does the recent move of the Movie Masters line to TRU mean that Mattel can finally open this line up to other DC movie properties such as Superman?

1) As She-Ra was noticably absent from the MOTU artbook, are there any plans for a She-Ra art book?
2) As the MOTU artbook sales were so great, any chance of a second volume with a higher production run?
3) Will we see any Snake Men or more Horde members in 2010?

Since you canceled the jlu 4 packs, are we ever going to see the justice guild?

Why are the WWE Entrance Greats figures only getting standard articulation, considering they are over $20 do you not think they deserve elite/ deluxe articulation?

Dear Mattel,
Happy Holidays!
I was wondering if you consider or will consider making a black and gray repaint 5 POA batman for jlu. The one out now is show accurate but I was hoping to get one that looked like the TNBA version of the costume. A black and gray batman was made before but only in the toys r us history of batman pack and included the extra articulation.
please make one!

Hi Mattel. I am wondering if the upcoming DCUC price increases will apply to the World’s Greatest line as well. While I may be able to stomach paying $15 for a DCUC figure with an accessory and a Collect ‘N Connect piece, I would find it MUCH harder to pay the same price for just a figure with a stand. What are your thoughts?

So, I’ve spoken to a person within Target and Wal-Mart regarding shipment of products. Decently high levels of authority, and they both told me the same thing: Toy line shipments are based on companies sending the waves at their discretion. So, since my city has seen 1 shipment of Wave 8 just last week to a Meijer, it lies on Mattel’s shipping, not on Target and Wal-Mart not ordering Wave 8 specifically. And Matty, if you cannot respond to this, please pass to someone who can. The fact the my city (and the cities surrounding) have not seen an entire wave is as close to catastrophic as toy lines go (we’re not talking naational security here). Do the big boxes actually order specific cases and waves, or has your shipping department failed in delivering product to fans? Don’t gloss over please.

I think that we should ask jaysuns question. We probably won’t get a good answer but it is an imperative matter. mattel is defiently lying to us.
