I try not to shill too often around here, even for my beloved sponsors, but this Detective Comics with Action Figures Boxed Set was too awesome not to pass along to you guys. While I’m usually more a Mattel than DC Direct fan when it comes to superhero figures, I can’t deny the appeal of this set, which comes with a 64-page collection of classic detective comics as well as action figures from the freaky-deaky psychedelic era of the 1950s and 1960s that Grant Morrison can’t stop playing with–including Bat-Mite, the lovable, omniscient scamp!

Those look awesome. decent price too.
Not bad, but seeing as the majority of my DC Direct stuff has just been disintegrating at the joints of late, I'll pass on this set.
Holy repaint… how lame. Riddler with an ugly head sculpt, Batman with a goofy a$$ paint job, Robin is too tall, and Batgirl is the only decent one. Already have Batmite. DC Direct is dead. Long live Mattel DCUC!
I usually only go for DC Direct figures when they are based on a very specific depiction, like Elseworlds. I have my eye on some of the Blackest Night figures right now.
I second the motion of Fengschwing; DCD stuff is incredibly brittle in addition to the joint issues. This set looks cool, but I'm all Batman-ed out, thanks. Can't wait for DCUC Batman #6.
Hahaha. Riddler on the far left looks just like Neitlich minus the glasses. Just sayin..
