Predators packaged pics are several ugly mother&*%#ers

Dreadcentral.com has put up packaged images of NECA’s Predators figures. The packaging looks great–much more innovative than the usual–and I can’t wait for that Classic Predator. Still not sure about the articulation, though. I hope it’s better than the McFarlane version (it has to be, right?).

Head to Dread Central for a larger version of the pic.

  • The first thing i thought of when i saw these was….awesome but how poseable? I'm also hoping fairly well, but they are packaged in a fairly vanilla pose, so i hope they gave then the swivel elbows like the terminator but i also kinda hope that they are articulated in a similar fashion as NECA's video game figures. Well, I'll probably end up with one or all of them regardless.

  • Looks like their legs are articulated… Thank the toy gods… Cause I've skipped on a lot of NECA's figs because they're statues from the waist down…(HP, Twilight, Saw, etc.)

  • Looking at the blown up package shot it says 20 points of articulation? Little fuzzy… But I think that what it says.

  • @Newton Gimmick:

Yeah, adding lore to the predators just made them into a lame copy of Klingons…But good stuff came out of it like the Capcom Aliens versus Predator arcade game and the Hot toys Machiko.

  • Looks like a ball neck, cut waist, ball shoulders, ball elbows, ball wrist, v-crotch, cut thighs, what looks to be ball knees, and what I assume is either hinged or ball ankles…

Looks like a lack of accessories though, one can only hope that they're like the Altiar figure and the accessories are hidden on them somewhere.

  • looks great… yes, the package says over 20 POA… my hopes are indeed high for these.

  • How about one of Topher Grace getting impaled by the Predators? Now with realistic blood swilling action!

  • I bought some of the prequel Predators comics, and there's a shot of a metal, robotic falconesque animal watching some characters, and i believe that the falconer figure has one, if you look at the bottom right of the packaging, i think behind the picture of the figure's face
