Fun review, and man, I can’t wait for this toy.
You make a ‘drinking game’ based on how many times Dan says “Actually” Nice review though, I can’t wait for this figure either!
Ohboyohboyohboy, Gygor looks more amazing with each passing day. Why can’t more toylines have giant, villainous apes?
Hopefully I will have good site karma when Gygor goes on sale so I can buy him and then rush out to the store for a big quart of rainbow sherbert to celebrate until his arrival.
Hm. I was planning on skipping Gygor like I did Tytus. But then they revealed him as a bad guy working for Skeletor. *Sigh*. I guess I’ll have a horrible yellow gorilla in my collection now. (Assuming I can get one of off Matty). The articulation looks pretty good on him. For $30 he looks like a good deal. Unlike Tytus in my opinion.
God I want that figure.

the toy looks great. i just really wish i didn’t have to invite PD into my home to get these previews. most months, i skip it, but gygor i’m really drooling for, so i bit the bullet and watched it. i know he lurks here, so i’m going to avoid getting poe in trouble, but to put it diplomatically, i’d rather go to a big knuckled doctor for a proctological exam than listen to a pixel dan review.
When’s this bad boy coming out?
Speaking of the Gygor review, and the Molar/Skelly review…where the heck is the Whiplash review? He’s the number 4 most wanted figure for me in this entire line. He didn’t get a Toyfare add and now his review has been a long time in coming it seems.
@Thrawn: Given the lack of the ad and previews, plus the relatively late pics on Mattycollector, I’m guessing he’s running a bit late, production-wise.
Re: Pixel Dan–I know the feelings some of you have about him, but please do keep the comments to something more like “I don’t like his voice” than the hurtful bon mots.
$30 sounds like a great price. I just hope I can score one; I wonder if it’s too early to go ahead and buy from a scalper.
Pixel Dan reviews are like porn,you get it ahead ,down and dirty bare bones review that you kind of regret clicking afterwards going through his “voice”.He should try reviewing it in his “Skeletor” voice to ease some fans?
BTW,Gygor is BANANAS!
