This is a pretty classic example of a toy aisle troll–swapped out Tyr for Scorpion, and thus emperiled his immortal soul. I hope it was worth it. Pay for your toys, or don’t buy them at all.
Really? Scorpion? That's a great figure! I thought they wanted to foist off undesirable crap. I guess I'll never understand these cretins.

The people that take back the returns on some of these figures obviously aren't the brightest. The collector button shows the character and there's a big picture right on the back!! FAIL
I'm on the fence on this one. While it was a douche-y move, I think that the Scorpion figure is actually cooler than Tyr…who I loathe.
Yeah, count me in on being perplexed by this one. That's a fantastic Scorpion figure.
like lemonjuice, i like tyr, but scorpion was the bomb… kind of like dumping kim kardashian for kyra sedgwick. honestly, i think the crap DCU fig is punishment enough.
I actually liked the Tyr figure a lot, but that Scorpion is sweet!
I don't think that the employee's that work at these stores really care. Only people like us get angry over it. I bet this what goes through a cashiers mind:
- Does the UPC match the receipt: check.
- Is there a toy is in the package: check.

Agreed; Tyr is pretty cool. You'd think Scorpion would actually be harder to find, though. My Wallys have 4 Tyrs between them.

Yep, Thats pretty much what most of them do. I worked retail for 10yrs and never let anything like this get by me. They tell you to check all packages but most of them don't care, especially when its as obvious as this one. And as far as the troll himself goes I agree with all you guys that the Scorpion is a kick @$$ figure. Im still trying to find one!
