welcome to NJ guys. Return-N-Switch is the new most popular sport in collecting here since 2008, between that and scalpers, we have it rough despite a mass amount of Targets, WM, TRU etc. I haven't been to a WM or TRU without seeing one switched out figure in years. Now the newest game is the ebayers and flea market guys buying cases of DCUC and Star Wars online, and returning the peg-warmers for credit at the stores. Seas of Dengars and Monguls await kids this holiday, how sad.

  2. A small part of me thinks that the $75 price tag on that thing has earned all of the trolling that comes its way.

I mostly think it's a shame to see. For whatever reason, most Walmarts I've been to don't even have this set and never carried the Green Lantern set last year. For those willing to buy it, this is one less that's available if they manage to find one. I've got to admit that as far as the mixed quailty and paint jobs we've seen in DCUC, these 5 figures look pretty stellar in person.

Iron Man is a better toy anyway.

Yeah….but it's available on Amazon for $6.99, whereas the Troll in question stuck it into a $75 box set and jacked the best figure from the set. It's a case of "get a good toy in place of an AWESOME one", with Owlman being the awesome figure and Satellite Armor IM being the good one.

I see nothing wrong with what he did. This means some lucky kid is going to get a quality figure for Christmas.

Mean while, a thief is left with a figure from a company that thinks of bicep swivels as "trouble ahead" and can't figure out that they shouldn't intentionally mangle their figures with the packaging.

That's not even a regular Mark III/IV/VI Iron Man; someone went through the trouble to swap out Owlman with a friggin' Satellite Armor Iron Man. Seriously, whoever did this is a complete moron.

Karmic punishment: The Owlman stolen from this five-pack ends up having fused joints, thus rendering the figure useless.

  6. Haha This reminds me of the Simpsons; when Stan Lee is replacing DC Comics with Marvel and he goes up to a kid playing with a Bat-mobile and he grabs it and replaces the Batman with the Thing, he shoves it and breaks the car, the kid says you broke my Bat-mobile and he says broke it or made it better.

I get that Owlman is cool and all, but why steal him and return it? There's several loose ones on the eBay for 20.00….if you have money to buy this pack, just buy the figure online! Of course, a thief is a thief….those jerks….
