I like the weathering effect on this photo. Sometimes people take such things too far or use them too frequently and it becomes gimmicky, but at the right time and in the right doses, I like such manipulation.
What I like about this one is that the photographer used these effects to lend the image a realistic, vintage lived-in feel, and yet it's not a Hot Toys pirate or something, it's this ridiculously bulbous, cartoony little guy. The contrast is cute.
