Toy Aisle Trolls > Bubble Trouble

Toy Aisle Trolls is a feature highlighting acts of vandalism to in-store toy items. If you find a ruined package, a stolen figure, a swapped-out figure, or any other such acts, take a photo (cell phone photos are fine if they’re not blurry) and email them to poe@poeghostal.com.

I ordered a Supergirl vs. She-Ra two pack from toysrus.com a few weeks ago and someone replaced She-Ra’s head and accessories with those from Bubble Power She-Ra. I’ve seen this a few times in store, but never from something I’ve bought over the Internet.

  • Now THIS is intriguing. I would have thought online orders come direct from freshly opened cases.

  • what the hizzy??? how the hell is that a swapout from the warehouse? that is a much bigger problem that in store thievery right there… TRU needs to be made aware of this one, at a corporate level. if parties are tempering w/ warehoused good, who's to say they out flat out absconding w/ some goods as well?

    • When I pointed out missing BAF pieces to a TRU manager way back during DCUC 12, she said that it was the second case they've received like that and someone must have been removing them at the warehouse.

Then I asked how much will she knock off the price because I'd still be willing to buy the figure without the BAF and she said they don't do that. I hate TRU.

  • While it's certainly possible that someone in their warehouse is the culprit, isn't it more likely that this was returned to a store by the troll, and then returned to a warehouse by the store? Are there any TRU employees on here who can say if this is done? (returning good to a distribution center?)

Either way, yes, TRU should be notified.
