Roswell-Aliens-3

Doomkick is celebrating its first anniversary, so I contributed a guest review of the “Roswell Aliens” from Street Players Holding Corp. who apparently still exist. Here’s an excerpt:

The Roswell Aliens were made by a company called Street Players Holding Corp in 1996. They were released right around the height of the popularity of The X-Files, a time when David Duchovny was known for a hit show and not sex addiction, a time when a large portion of the American public actually believed their government was run tightly enough to engage in a massive conspiracy to hide the existence of aliens. Despite being a random toy by an unknown manufacturer, the Roswell Aliens proved popular with the same burgeoning collector market that loved McFarlane Toys, Resaurus and the other early independent toy companies.
