Hey Poe,
I picked up a ‘used’ ROML Dr Doom from Amazon’s Warehouse Deals thinking it was a steal for $12.25 shipped (Prime). Who cares if the packaging is a little beat up if you’re going to open it, right?
Well, it arrived, and lo and behold I found this.
Someone had replaced the figure with the older Hasbro version, with its bright green and swirly silver plastic.
Back to Amazon it goes, with a note about the fraud. Hopefully they don’t put it back into circulation, but beware.

I figured someone would do this. Even though it is a crummy trick to pull, I can see why they'd do it. I mean, I'd be mad too if I bought Hasbro's first crummy Doom, only to have 'em come out with a MUCH better one.
