I picked this up last year but never got around to doing a write-up about it. I absolutely love it when companies do holiday-specific exclusives (for example, the Christmas-themed S.L.U.G. Zombies, Santa Gizmo, or the Playmobil Santa set). There was a couple of years where Target had a lot of these, maybe about 4-5 years ago, but they don’t seem to have as many nowadays. However, they did have this one last year.
It’s only a 4″ figure and a Dark Knight Rises one at that, but the black-and-orange color scheme and the pumpkin-themed bubble and graphics on the packaging proved irresistible to me.
Good little geek that I am, I spent a lot of time trying to come up with a good in-universe reason for Batman to own a suit like this. The best I could come up with is the Joker kidnaps Robin and threatens to kill him if Batman doesn’t dress up like that and go trick-or-treating.
Or maybe Batman’s just a big Clemson fan.

You have a compulsive problem Poe! But had I seen Bat-insignia Pumpkins too, my wallet would have opened itself up. 😀

Perhaps this would be a good way for Batman to infiltrate a Halloween costume party without anyone realizing it's him. The orange highlights and full facemask hide his true identity and make everyone think he's just a random partygoer. Seriously, I wonder how many folks in Gotham dress as Batman on Halloween?

Target had a white Batman for Christmas last year. I got that one in my stocking. I was intrigued by the Halloween Batman when I saw it but not enough to pull the trigger and buy one. Wish I had now because that headsculpt is pretty awesome.

There's a few other versions of the same figure sculpt from the Dark Knight Rises line that share that same headsculpt. The one I have is a grey/blue color scheme, but off the top of my head there's a navy blue/white one and I think at least one other color scheme. I got mine from a Chinese eBay seller a while ago, but I'm pretty sure they included a launcher accessory gimmick when the line came out in the US. The Halloween version has the coolest colors in my opinion (and it's also one I don't have yet!)

i picked up a orange and black batman at a flea market for like 50 cents. i thought it was a Halloween batman special… but maybe it was just some 90s shenanigans batman, lol.
he is like 90% BRIGHT neon orange with black cowl, gloves, bat symbol, and boots. missing cape.
