Toy Aisle Trolls is a feature highlighting acts of vandalism to in-store toy items. If you find a ruined package, a stolen figure, a swapped-out figure, or any other such acts, take a photo (cell phone photos are fine if they’re not blurry) and email them to poe@poeghostal.com.

I was going through my Rite-Aid in Chickasaw, AL when I saw two horrific things that I simply had to share with you.
The first is that they were selling G.I. Joe Rise of Cobra figures for $13.99 each!
The second is that they were selling one of their $14 figures without a head! The package was practically ripped all the way off, but it was tucked about two or three figures back on the peg.
I can only imagine who needed a custom Marlon Wayans head from a four year old toy so desperately! All I know for sure is the damage left in their wake. I placed it in the front of the peg in the hopes that someone in the store might notice. I’m not very hopeful, though.
Sigh.

I don't know what hellish place a person needs to be in life before shoplifting a (poor) Marlon Wayans portrait seems either necessary or a good idea, but just this once, I vote we don't wish any punishment on them. I suspect they are being punished enough as it is.

I find it amusing to think that Marlon Wayans' first action figure was, technically, Robin from Kenner's Batman Returns.
Dark Angel
I had to Google that – I had no idea about those casting rumors! So I guess the Batman Returns Catwoman figure is Michelle Pfeiffer's first and only action figure- Figure Realm seems to think so…

Hah! That is a very good point, Dark Angel. It just doesn't seem like any punishment wished upon the person that did this could possibly match someone desperately clutching at their custom Marlon Wayans figure.
