So, I suggested this week’s topic for The League of Extraordinary Bloggers, “Bootlegs, knockoffs, and third-party products.”
My original suggestion was “third-party toys, yay or nay,” and my main reason for even suggesting it was as a way to get me to finally write this editorial that’s been rattling around in my brain for a while.
This week’s assignment from the League of Extraordinary Bloggers is to write a “State of the Site” post. I already do this sort of thing every so often, but it might be good to do a more thorough one.
This week’s assignment for The League:
 Who would you take in an 80′s character fantasy draft? Your team’s goal will be to defeat a shady conglomerate of Russian businessmen and their team of hired ninjas. It’s go time.
I skipped most of the obvious candidates for this assignment. He-Man, Snake Eyes, the Thundercats – any of these guys could eat a bunch of ninjas for breakfast, so there didn’t seem to be much fun in that. Instead, I decided to put together a sort of heist group using talented but not necessarily super-powered cartoon characters from the 1980s.
