New images!

I’d just like to take a moment to recognize the fine new additions to the sidebar menu, Ray Fillet and Maxx Steele. These are of course the work of Red Kryptonite. Thanks RK!

Currently working on a pretty cool piece. I hope to get it up in the next day or two, if it comes together. No, this isn’t the oft-mentioned DCUC wave one review–though I may have to go ahead and post that without the cool bonus I’ve been hinting about.

    Nope–as I said, my friend Red Kryptonite made them. I believe she used Adobe Illustrator.

    I’ve really got to do the “On the Menu” for 339/1. RK’s art for him came out great, and he probably has the most interesting story.

    Yes, both new images are great. I don’t know who Ray Fillet is, but after Poe delivered him to me for implementation here, I was super impressed (as with the original batch). All these critters are great and it is super too bad they have to be sized down to use here. RK puts a lot of detail in her work and I almost feel guilty when I have shrink them down!

    Ray Fillet is a Ninja Turtles character. His original name in the comics was “Man-Ray,” which I like better.

    Beautiful new artwork!! I think Red K captured the look on Ray Fillet’s face perfectly! It looks a lot like PoPo Ghostal when he was in search of it!!

    Even after all of this, I still don’t know who Ray Fillet is? Is he the dude with the trench coat or the robot. I assumed the robot was Maxx Steel.

    Incidentally, I love all of the images Red Kryptonite has placed on this site. This is one damn fine piece of eye candy of a site and I for one am jealous as hell.

    Got that OB1 - get cracking on some wacky Ed Zone-esque creatures, stat. How about a weird Manatee Man named Mookie? Or a somber sloth named Joe. It’s a start, right?

    As far as images go, maybe you can sweet talk RK into whipping one up for you and your redesign I am working on now. I am a code and layout guy, not so good at critter creation. Your logo is about as good as it gets with me. This is why all your color themes have been based on bank websites…
