Toy Aisle Trolls > Blunderblast

Toy Aisle Trolls is a feature highlighting acts of vandalism to in-store toy items. If you find a ruined package, a stolen figure, a swapped-out figure, or any other such acts, take a photo (cell phone photos are fine if they’re not blurry) and email them to poe AT poeghostal.com. Also, please note: I’m deliberately being over-the-top with my condemnation of these people–I don’t actually wish bodily harm upon them. Just severe mental anguish.

Today’s TAT comes courtesy of Poester Mysterious Stranger.

I snapped a pic of this G.I. Joe Rise of Cobra figure swap at TRU today. The vermin swapped an Indiana Jones Young Indy figure with the Sgt. Thunderblast figure that is supposed to come with this Armored Panther. I almost picked it up to buy thinking it was a new vehicle at first glance then took a closer look and saw the swap.

Not being a Joe fan I have no idea exactly how much Karmic Payback this piece of plankton deserves, so I leave his cosmic fate in your hands.

we should sound blast his home w/ dick gautier screaming "CO-BRA-LALALALALALALALALALALA!!!!" ala noreiga.

  2. Some of these swaps are just too odd. Thunderblast isn't a very good figure and the Young Indy is arguably more rare.

  3. mechashiva has it close but the collection should just be taken with a note left saying "Thank You" written in script. The cans and donut boxes though is gold.

P.S (I'll take the collection for safekeeping)

May all the rubber O-rings in his vintage Joes snap in one grand orchestral moment of justice.

His Joe collection has been ripped, burned and chopped with the perpetrators leaving Grape soda cans and empty chocolate donut boxes all over the house.

I'd say his payback should be to have his eyes forced open a la A Clockwork Orange and be forged to watch the GI Joe movie again and again… but he'd probably like that.
