I'm still proud I got the first major review of these out…or that I at least beat Crawford to the punch. 🙂

@Philip Reed: Yep, same series, except these were in the individual color versions.

    I also reviewed April O'Neil.

  2. Is this from the same series that had the B&W four pack? I saw that in a Hastings and the set looked cool; except for the fact it had a broken figure.

It's cool that their background color represents their cartoon counterpart.Very pop-artishly good!

Its hard to believe these have been out for over two years now! They're still as cool as they ever were! I never got an April (never saw her in the wild). I'm still crossing my fingers for Shredder though.

@Snarf Snarf: Its true. its too bad, since Playmates failed to produce anything good. The re-issues were okay, but overpriced IMO. they could have produced a "Classics" line and have made a mint. I don't think people bought the re-issues because most of 'em still had their original Turtles. I would have bought at least one to display MOC had they not had that obnoxious "DVD Inside" sticker on the front.

  5. Snarf! Snarf!

Playmates is Synonym of rooster blocking NECA's TMNT appearance in TRU.

I'd love to rebuy the Turtles two more times. (To have a Turtles forever display)

I picked up the Michelangelo from a dealer at Charlotte's Hero-con a few weeks ago for 5 bucks. Fantastic figure!

I see that BBTS still has the wave with Shredder and the Foot clan on preorder. NECA needs to rerelease these into Toys R Us stores asap!

  7. Mountain-man

    Must get these!

    Hear hear!

The only thing wrong with that line was that it ended too soon. (Or is it still in zombie toy line limbo?)

Excellent photo, and best action figures EVAH.
