Poe’s Pick of the Week: Halo 4 Play Arts Kai Series 01 – Master Chief
In a few weeks, I will once again, despite myself, dive into the world of Halo. Can Halo 4 possibly reinvigorate my interest in this franchise? Will I finally get a Halo game I enjoy as much as the first one? Rumor is it will be offer more exploration and story and not simply be a borderline-on-rails shooter. Ultimately I’m mainly buying it to play with friends (I hate Call of Duty and its ilk). All that said, whatever you think of the games, I own the first Play Arts Kai Master Chief and it’s awesome, and this probably will be too. (more…)
The mother of all Masters of the Universe DVD collections is now up for pre-order at Amazon. This set includes three complete series: the complete original 1980s He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, the “top 20 Fan-Favorite Episodes” of The New Adventures of He-Man, and the complete Millennium He-Man and the Masters of the Universe — all within some really cool Castle Grayskull-style packaging.
It’s a bit of a bummer it doesn’t include the complete New Adventures…or Princess of Power. But then, I wonder whether including all of NA and POP would actually hurt sales, between the increased price and the fact that many MOTU fans aren’t really fans of NA, and many aren’t POP fans either.

Finally, NECA brings us a brand-new Mr. T figure in the form of Clubber Lang. No word on a “street clothes” Clubber like JAKKS did, but I wouldn’t be surprised if we saw him soon. Poe’s Pick of the Week: Batman Arkham City Deluxe Action Figure – Titan Joker Deluxe
Now in stock! I saw this badass mofo in person at NYCC last year, and it was absolutely amazing. It’s like Doomsday and the Joker…hired someone to sculpt an action figure of what a cross between them would look like.
BBTS also has some kind of crazy 8″ Thundercats exclusive Lion-O from Singapore, new Gentle Giant 12″ Jumbo Star Wars figures including Rocket-Firing Boba Fett (still don’t get the appeal of those, but different strokes and all that), NECA’s Bioshock Infinite figures (w/ pics!), and much more after the jump.

Poe’s Pick: Figma Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword Link
BBTS has dropped the price of Figma Link from $64 to $50. This looks to be the best-ever Link action figure. I know some fans may be disappointed it’s the Skyward Sword link, but honestly he’s always looked pretty much the same to me.
Similarly, they’ve re-offered the popular Figma Samus figure for the same price.
BBTS is also having a big autumn sale, with Transformers, Star Wars, Marvel, DC & over 4,000 more items on sale with discounts ranging from 20% to 90%.
