Sword of Ages Sale Date

The Sword of Ages will go on sale this Friday, November 26 at 12pm ET at Poe Ghostal’s Points of Acquisition.

The swords are $7 each, with a limit of 3 per person. International orders are welcome. This first production run is fairly limited, but we will go into another production run if they sell through quickly.

There will also be a small number of Dread Axes of Darkness available as well, at the usual price point of $10 each.

I have just ten Dread Axes left in my store, and they need to move. You can order one here. I’m pushing these again for two reasons:

1.) Due to the slower selling of the second round, I won’t go into a third one unless I there’s demand (i.e., emails from people asking for them), which seems unlikely at this point, and

2.) Due to budgetary considerations, I can’t move forward with the brand-new Spy Monkey exclusive I’ve been talking about until I sell out of the Axes.

So if you’ve been considering an Axe but waffling, now’s the time to order.

Poe Goes Podcast, Again

The excellent folks at Orccacast had me on again a couple weeks ago, and after some technical difficulties, the podcast has finally made it on the air. Topics include the Mego revival, Mezco’s rough run of luck with their licenses, and general toy geekery. You can check it out at the link below (or get it via Itunes).

Be warned, this one is a long one–I gab with the Orccacast guys for about two hours. And yet, in all that time, I never once remembered to ask them where the heck their show’s name comes from. I’m going to guess/hope it’s not because they’re diehard fans of the 1977 JAWS rip-off. Or maybe it is, and now I owe them an apology.
