Enchanted Toy Chest still has a (very) few sets of DCUC8 in stock and ready to ship. Mine will be here Friday!
If you happen to pick up a copy of ToyFare #143, in comic shops today, you shall find therein an article written by yours truly. It’s an interview with the Hasbro Transformers design team, including Aaron Archer, about the new Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen toys. (more…)
I totally spaced on the fact that Topless Robot posted my list “The 10 Most Famous Geek Arguments” yesterday.
Reading through the comments, my favorite thing about the whole article is everyone’s arguing about what arguments should have been included.
(For the record, I skipped Kirk vs. Picard because I already had the Star Trek vs. Star Wars question on the list, and wanted to spread the love around. Furthermore, all the captains and commanders that have come along since–Sisko, Janeway, Archer–have muddied the issue. However, it is a famous geek argument, so point taken.)
UPDATE: Rob of TR just pointed out to me that the list made the front page of Digg yesterday. Dude, where was I?
EE has several DCUC8 single figures in stock and ready to ship:
EE has Revenge of the Fallen toys available for pre-order, shipping later this month. Click here to check ’em out!
As of this writing, I’ve got 272 votes on the poll in the sidebar…I’d love to get that up to 300 before the poll ends tomorrow night. If you haven’t voted, please do! If you have, please bug your DC-loving friends to do so!
The results of the poll will be emailed to Mattel (this isn’t any sort of official poll, obviously, but it could give them some ideas).

Please permit me to make a small request.
I know many of you probably use Adblock or other advertisement-blocking software on your browsers. Most of these programs usually allow you to make exceptions for certain pages or websites. I would immensely appreciate it if you could disable your adblocking software for poeghostal.com.
The only ads I have are either static ads (like Enchanted Toy Chest and Amazon) or Google Ads, so there’s no risk of malware or spyware (as far as I’m aware, anyway). Even if you don’t order anything from the ads, some of them track page impressions and reimburse me in that way.
Disabling Adblock is something I do for my own favorite websites (e.g., Topless Robot, Great White Snark, the Fwoosh, Toy Bender, and so forth). It’s an easy way of showing your appreciation for the site without having to do anything other than look at a couple ads. And who knows, maybe you’ll actually end up getting a good deal on something.
Out of the blue, GeekGirlDiva of Entertainment Earth has informed me that the Lex Luthor/Supergirl DCUC 2-pack is back up for sale. If you’re going to order one, please do me and PGPoA a massive solid by using this link. Thanks!
For those who don’t remember, this set is scheduled to include the DCSH Lex Luthor in his battle suit and the blue Supergirl, as well as possibly an extra accessory.
