Man-E-Faces. I'll get the subscription if you make him.

    Should I get a subscription?

    When will He-Ro be re-released?

Regarding Voltron will you consider doing a special edition of Vehicle Voltron?

    Tx!

Why have the DCUC 2 packs on MattyCollector been declared a disappointment, even though they sold out eventually? This is a concern since I'd hate to see MOTUC's future brought into question if some figures begin taking longer than minutes to sell out.

I'm don't care for collectors' rants about what they "owed" by a company, and I may be beating a dead horse, but I do believe that we deserve a chance to buy a Gentleman Ghost and to complete Giganta at a reasonable price without rebuying the entire wave as a reissue set. So many fans are buying each and every release in order to collect and connect, and got pretty burned by this wave. It doesn't matter if it is the retailers' fault, Mattel is the only one who can pick up the ball and make this right.

We've seen a lot of names registered for trademarks this year. Is there a "rule of thumb" for how long a newly registered tm becomes a figure?

In the past, lines like GI Joe have had trouble retaining/reaquiring names of characters, if this happens would you consider changing the name of a figure, pay for the rights, or just forego that character?

If Mattel were to consider issuing another weapons pack for either MOTUC or DCUC, would it be possible to just be packaged in a polybag or something? Seems like a good opportunity and simple way for Mattel to listen to fan response and save everyone on shipping costs due to the odd packaging of the previous MOTUC weapons pack.

Given that the property was somewhat similar, & that incorporating it into the MOTU canon wouldn't be too far fetched, what are the odds of seeing Blackstar's John Blackstar & Overlord tossed into MOTUC?

Having the Horsemen sculpt those two would be breathtaking, would it not. Think about it, Mattel.

@Reverend Ender: Mattel has stated before that they hold back a small number of figures for QC exchanges. I'd bet these figures were from that leftover stock that they haven't taken to a convention to sell off yet.

With the Merman re-release, a lot of people seemed to have received not the reissued Mermen, but in fact original Mermen that had dust on them and didn't arrive in the white mailer boxes. This lead many to suspect that Merman had not actually sold out the first time around. What explanation can you offer for this? Thank!

May I suggest a "Faker" Orko in Skeletor colors combined with an "evil" Prince Adam with a goatee?

  10. Dead Man Walking

Mattel continues to insist that it will not do a fan’s choice figure for MOTUC because of the varying levels of unique tooling that figures require. However, Mattel is in the driver seat here–why not present the fans with three choices for figures with comparable amounts of new tooling, such as Battle Armor Skeletor, Terror Claws Skeletor, and Thunderpunch He-Man, and allow fans to determine which will be the next bonus figure?

CAN WE SPECT A "SHINNY" MAYOR FORCE?

I'll answer the questions posed thus far:

    "We cannot comment."

    "Stay tuned."

    "We'll take that under consideration."

"We are always looking for new ways to yank your chain."

Could you please explain in more detail what this means for the DCUC action figure line.

    Thank you.

"Toy manufacturer Mattel has extended its licensing agreement with DC Comics and its parent company Warner Bros.

Under the terms of the deal, Mattel will be granted "unprecedented access" to DC's vault of characters and produce a line of products to tie in with next summer's Green Lantern movie.

"The sheer volume of the DC Comics property portfolio lends itself to an incredible array of consumer offerings," Brad Globe, president of Warner Bros Consumer Products commented.

"As master licensee, Mattel has consistently created innovative products that are true to the spirit of the DC Comics heroes and villains from which they are inspired. We look forward to seeing the results of the next wave of property collaborations."

  14. I second the nice graphic!

What was the reasoning behind making Keldor's purple a different shade from Skeletor's?

What sort of changes are planned for the redeco King Grayskull? Is it just cosmetic changes to the paint and plastic, or will there be more significant changes?

Will the Voltron line-up include action figures?

Does Mattel have the rights (from the actors) to do the female figures from the Ghostbuster series – e.g. Janine?

The DCUC figures are rather light on accessories (with a few exceptions). Currently, the Green Lantern slew of characters is getting quite a bit of publicity. Are there any plans to release "energy constructs" such as energy blasts and shields in the various colours as an "accessory pack"?

Why is it I can buy a box set of 11 Doctor Who figures for £46.95 in the UK but it costs me over £110 for 7 DCUC figures?

Many people have reported that their Optikks have come with a substantial amount of mold release on his eye, resulting in there being an upleasant puddle of goo in his bubble.

This isn't an issue that we've seen to any great degree before.

    Why now?

  17. Jii Dee

She-Ras' skirt design, plus its material seems to result in very restrictive leg articulation.

This is somewhat concerning for those people who hope to see a swift wind at some point in the future.

This appears to be a problem that has been re-rearing its head of late. I.E Tytus' nearly solid loin cloth.

Seeing as these are old issues that were supposedly fixed long ago, why the backslide?

  18. Jii Dee

If you have indeed found a solution to the female bobble head issue as your facebook posts asert, will we see the re-releases of all female figures come with this improved neck? or just the new females going forward?

    nice new graphic!

how would big accessories like the stilt stalkers or jet sled be done in motuc? would they be pack-in accessories w/ a figure, or perhaps added to another weapon's pack? or might they be done as stand alone secondary items in a month like the bonus figures?

  20. Can you reveal anything you have planned for the upcoming Voltron line based on the new cartoon?
